- Accumulator
- A single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the accumulator to pay out, and the odds multiply together.
- Asian Handicap
- A type of bet that gives one team a virtual head start or deficit to make the odds more balanced, removing the draw option.
- Asian Line
- A set of betting lines used in Asian Handicap markets that include quarter-goal increments to reduce the chance of a push.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting activities.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that allows you to combine several different markets from the same match into a single customized bet.
- Bet Slip
- The digital record that lists the selections, odds, stake, and potential payout for a bet you intend to place.
- Bookmaker Margin
- The percentage of the total bets that the bookmaker keeps as profit, reflected in the odds being slightly lower than the true probabilities.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A wager on whether both competing teams will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the match ends, locking in a profit or minimizing a loss based on the current score.
- Correct Score
- A bet that predicts the exact final score of a match, such as 2-1 or 3-0.
- Decimal Odds
- A way to express odds as a single number (e.g., 2.50) that includes the original stake; your total return is stake multiplied by the decimal.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (win, draw, loss) in a single match, increasing your chances of winning.
- Expected Value (EV)
- A calculated average of what you can expect to win or lose per bet if you repeat the same wager many times.
- First Goal Scorer
- A wager on which player will score the first goal in a match.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction (e.g., 5/2) that indicate how much profit you will earn relative to your stake.
- Free Bet
- A bonus token provided by the sportsbook that you can use to place a bet without risking your own money; any winnings (minus the free bet stake) are usually withdrawable.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that requires you to predict the result at both half-time and full-time, such as 'Draw – Home Win'.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets on events while the match is ongoing, with odds that update as the game unfolds.
- Juice (Vig)
- The commission that the bookmaker charges for taking your bet, built into the odds.
- Moneyline Odds
- Odds expressed as a positive or negative number showing how much you need to bet or how much you can win on a straight win outcome.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be higher (over) or lower (under) than a number set by the bookmaker.
